Based in Aranui, our aim is to help at-risk young people build positive attitudes towards themselves so they can have fulfilling futures.

Operating since 1999, Crossroads Youth with a Future’s people have built, and are building, unique relationships with local youth and their families.

The purpose of Crossroads Youth with a Future Trust is to instil hope in young people and their whanau, and to help them develop positive attitudes towards themselves and others in the community.

The Stay Real life skills programme is Crossroad Youth’s main programme and runs within local schools, from Primary through to High School. We are currently running Stay Real programmes with Haeata Community Campus, Chisnallwood Intermediate and Shirley Intermediate. Our programme has seen great success in engaging and supporting young people and walking alongside them on their life journey.Crossroad for youth drop in centre

The connections built through Stay Real has created networks within the community and has seen the work expand from Stay Real to a Drop-In Centre, and a multitude of services that have met the need of the community in various seasons over the last 20 years.

Currently, we run four Stay Real programmes, the weekly Drop-In Centre, the carving studio, and an annual community camp. We offer ongoing support as required to people in need, providing a safe place where people are allowed to be who they are.
